About me ....

I am one of the "new breed" of Celebrants with a modern, down to earth approach.  For some time the funeral industry has been my priority, but in the last couple of years I have begun to incorporate other milestone ceremonies. Among others, these include Baby Namings and special birthday presentations in the form of a “This is your life” for the person who has everything.  Weddings, also, are now an important part of my life.. 

For all these events it’s important to feel comfortable and secure, whether a family is mourning the death of a loved one, or they are celebrating a happy milestone in their lives. 

Because of my experience in Social Studies and Grief counselling I have an  understanding of people of all ages, cultures and abilities..  

After many years of Oral Presentations, Public Speaking and Performance, I offer you a voice that is adaptable, clear and easy to listen to. 

My creative writing skills have proved invaluable when helping people compose a fitting ceremony for their requirements.

My Directing experience means that I can organize people and events so that you can relax and know your event will be trouble free.

There is an ocean of Celebrants to choose from.... 

Some are very good, but how would you know? 

Your Celebrant needs to be someone you can trust. You are putting one of the most important days of your life in their hands.  Your Celebrant should be chosen as carefully as you choose your dress or your photographer.

  • Do they speak clearly. 

  • Are they easy to understand? 

  • Will their voice suit your ceremony?  

  • Are they well presented? 

  • Do they offer a choice of clothing to suit your ceremony?

  • Are they LISTENING to your needs?

  • Do you feel comfortable with them?

  • Are they able to conduct your ceremony to suit your style and personality?

  • What is their experience in public speaking or event management?

  • Do they provide a PA system?

  • How far are they prepared to go to make your day special?

Don't make a decision on just their photo, or their words. You need to really TALK to a Celebrant to get a feel about whether they're right for you.

It’s only the cost of a phone call for you to talk to ME, and that brings you one step closer to making a decision. "Yes", I’m the right Celebrant for you or "No", you need to make another call. 

If you decide "Yes" ....

Then we’ll arrange to meet and talk about your special event. Usually couples come to meet me in a special "comfort corner" of my house, but if you have circumstances that make this very difficult, I will come to you.

Areas in which I will conduct a ceremony....

I usually cover the Eastern and South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne as well as the Mornington Peninsula, however I am always prepared to consider requests for my services in other areas.

When we meet.....

We will discuss your needs, be it for a ceremony to celebrate your marriage, same sex or personal commitment, the naming of your child, or pay tribute to the life of a loved one in a funeral or memorial service. Events only limited by our imagination.

At this point:  You are still not obliged to use my services.
